$8200 TOTAL RAISED!

In a fundraising campaign started earlier this fall, Community Cats of Benzie County set their sights on funding a complete surgery room at their Frankfort location. For the past years, they have been using the generous Platte Lake Veterinary Clinic’s facilities after hours. Now with the $8200 raised by donors, they will purchase an anesthesia machine, a water pump and a surgery table. Carol McKee, Veterinarian and Co-Founder said, “We are amazed and thankful for how quickly this need was met by our supporters. Our ability to serve the cat population will be improved dramatically now that we can perform surgeries on-site in Frankfort.”

Community Cats of Benzie County continue to need donations to keep this volunteer-led non-profit organization serving the homeless and population of Benzie County.
