Erin and Dawn
December 20, 2017
Dawn took to Erin immediately the first time that Erin visited her at her foster home. Dawn would not leave Erin’s lap which is unusual for her. She is a very rambunctious, playful girl most of the time. Dawn had been found as a stray in a trailer park at the beginning of October. She was about 8 months old – a very friendly girl – but she had lots of fleas, suffered from diarrhea and had not been spayed.
Community Cats took her into our adoption program. It took about a month with various treatments for her digestive issues, to finally get her to a healthy state. Once she was feeling better, her true personality came out. She began to play, interact with the other cats and dogs in the house and loved to spend time with her foster parents. Dawn loves to snuggle in bed in the morning and her foster parents were falling in love with her. But they knew that they should let her go to a loving home, as there are always cats and kittens in our program that need to be fostered. Erin and Dawn are the perfect fit and we couldn’t be happier that Dawn will be able to snuggle on Christmas morning with her new mom and dad.
